Travel Ultrasound Sonographer - $2,434 per week

Host Healthcare is seeking a travel Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week assignment starting on July 16, 2026, in Iowa City, Iowa.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures under the supervision of a physician.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during examinations.
• Accurately document findings and report results to the supervising physician.
• Adhere to HIPAA guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality.

Requirements

• Current state-issued Ultrasound Technologist license.
• Experience in performing diagnostic ultrasounds.
• Knowledge of relevant anatomy and physiology.
• Excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited sonography program.
• Passing scores on relevant certification exams.

Skills

• Proficient in using ultrasound equipment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay

The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
