About the role
Pioneer Healthcare Services is seeking a travel Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to make a significant impact in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting in Laureldale, PA. This is an on-site, 13-week travel assignment with day shifts up to 40 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing personalized treatment plans developed by physical therapists
- Provide therapeutic exercises and modalities to improve patient function and mobility
- Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising physical therapist
- Educate patients and families on exercise techniques and safety measures
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient sessions and progress
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure coordinated care
- Support discharge planning and facilitate continuity of care as needed
Requirements
- Completion of accredited PTA program
- Completion of National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE)
- PA PTA licensure/certification
- First Aid Certifications (BLS) strongly recommended
Pay
$1,384.63 - $1,427.45 per week (based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week, subject to confirmation)
