Travel Recreational Therapist - $2,487 per week

About the role

Assured Nursing is seeking a travel Rehabilitation Therapist for a 13-week assignment starting as soon as possible in Waimea, Hawaii.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic interventions to patients to improve their physical, cognitive, and emotional functioning.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
• Document patient progress and communicate effectively with healthcare providers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or related field.
• Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Hawaii.
• Experience in rehabilitation therapy preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Passing score on the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE).
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and modalities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Skills

• Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving skills.
• Effective time management and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in computer software relevant to healthcare settings.

Pay

The pay package is based on an 8-hour shift and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
