About the role
The role is for a travel nurse RN Telemetry position in Alexandria, Louisiana.
Responsibilities
- Treatment of cardiac and telemetry patients
- Nurse / Patient Ratio 5:1-6:1 depending on staffing
- Every other weekend on call requirement
- Every other weekend work requirement
- Willingness to work 36 or 48 hours per week shifts
- Shifts are 12 hours long, nights
- Must have BLS and ACLS certifications
- Must have an active RN license in the state of employment or a compact
Requirements
- Telemetry specialty
- Experience in a similar setting preferred
- Willingness to work weekends and be on call
- Ability to work 36 or 48 hours per week shifts
- Knowledge of cardiac and telemetry patient care
Qualifications
- BLS certification from AHA required
- ACLS certification from AHA required
- RN License in state of employment or compact
