MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel assignment in Bakersfield, California. The role is for a Telemetry registered nurse with Med Surg / Telemetry specialty, starting 10/26/2026, lasting 13 weeks, 36 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts. Responsibilities

• Connect patients to telemetry machines that measure heart rate, blood pressure, breathing rate, blood‑oxygen level, and electrocardiogram information.
• Monitor and interpret the data displayed on computer screens to assess potential health problems and needs.
• Develop nursing care plans and maintain accurate medical records.
• Provide care by comfortably connecting patients to the telemetry equipment and ensuring accurate data collection.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum eighteen months of recent experience in an acute care telemetry setting.
• Additional requirements may be specified by the client facility.
