Travel Telemetry RN - $1,949 per week

Start date: October 18, 2026. Assignment length: 13 weeks. Location: Akron, Ohio.

About the role

This is a fast‑paced cardiac telemetry unit with 33 beds. The position requires floating to other units as needed and being willing to act as charge nurse when assigned. Patient ratios are 1:5 or 1:6. Akron, located in northeastern Ohio, offers a vibrant arts and culture scene, numerous galleries and museums, the Akron Zoo with over 700 animals, and an extensive hospital network providing ample opportunity for adventure.

Responsibilities

• Provide telemetry nursing care on a 33‑bed cardiac unit
• Float to other units as required by the facility
• Serve as charge nurse when assigned
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:5/6

Requirements

• Registered Nurse with Telemetry specialty
• SSN and date of birth required
• One professional reference
• Copy of driver’s license
• Work history must reflect experience with EPIC and phlebotomy procedures
• Charge nurse experience
• Nursing degree accredited by ACEN or CCNE (include city and state of institution)
• Flexibility to work the dates as posted; no block shifts allowed
• RTO upfront (maximum 7 days) not permitted within the first two weeks of the contract

Pay

$1,900.00 – $1,997.00 per week (based on 12‑hour shifts, 36 hours per week)

36 hours per week, 12‑hour day shifts; block shifts are not permitted.
