Deliver specialized cardiac monitoring and care at a fast-paced hospital serving greater Cleveland County and the surrounding region. Shelby offers a friendly community, local events, and easy access to outdoor recreation.

Responsibilities

• Provide telemetry and progressive care nursing services
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and manage dysrhythmias
• Care for chest pain patients
• Titrate cardiac drips as ordered
• Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems for documentation
• Float within the designated region of hospitals as needed

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license
• At least 1 year of recent telemetry or progressive care experience
• Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
• Strong assessment skills
• SSN and DOB required for submission
• 1 reference in the last 12 months
• Skills checklist within the last 12 months
• Permanent address over 50 miles from the facility

Preferred Skills

• Critical thinking
• Experience with titratable cardiac drips
• Ability to manage dysrhythmias and chest pain cases

Schedule

• 12-hour night shifts
• 36 hours per week
• 13-week duration

Pay

$1685.00 – $1771.00 per week (based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week, with tax-free stipend amount to be determined).
