The role involves working on a night shift schedule with a commitment of 36 hours per week. Shift Information Unit: Telemetry Shift Length: 12 hours Shift: Nights Every other weekend required Unit Overview Unit Location: 7 West, 7 East, 5 East Type of Care: Medical Surgical with telemetry components Number of Beds: 60 Patient Population: Primarily adults with limited pediatric cases (1-5 per year) Staffing Ratio: 5:1 Common Patient Diagnoses Post-surgical care Diabetes management Heart failure Hypertension Weakness Cancer treatment Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse BLS Certification is required Must have a positive attitude and work well in a team setting Ability to care for diverse patient populations Technical Skills Experience with Epic EMR Knowledge of Alaris IV pumps Additional Notes The candidate should be prepared to float to other units as needed.
