About the Role

Telemetry Registered Nurses provide care to patients in a telemetry unit, monitoring heart rhythms and vital signs. They work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and record patient heart rates and other vital signs
• Assess patient conditions and report changes to healthcare providers
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
• Ensure patient privacy and confidentiality

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Current California RN license
• One year of relevant clinical experience
• Experience working in a telemetry unit preferred

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency with charting systems
