Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Telemetry located in Rutland, Vermont. This role involves providing patient care in a telemetry unit, with responsibilities extending to float to Medical, Oncology, Surgical, Progressive Care, or Emergency Department hold units. The position offers 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., with a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Schedule

  • 12-hour days, 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
  • Minimum 36 hours per week
  • Float rotation may be required to Medical, Oncology, Surgical, Progressive Care, or Emergency Department holds
  • Orientation occurs biweekly
  • Schedule requests are subject to manager approval

Responsibilities

  • Provide patient care in a telemetry unit
  • Float to other units as needed (Medical, Oncology, Surgical, Progressive Care, or Emergency Department holds)

Requirements

  • Valid RN license
  • BLS certification
  • ACLS certification
  • Dysrhythmia testing (not required for submission)
  • Up-to-date work history reflecting the correct health system name, campus, bed count, electronic medical record technology, and facility type or trauma level (if applicable)
  • Reliable transportation (own vehicle required; public transportation is not accessible)
  • Complete profile details with explanations for employment gaps over 30 days
  • Facility does not accept local candidates

Preferred Qualifications

  • Cerner electronic medical record experience
  • Vermont licensure prepared upon acceptance

Pay

Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
