About the role
Telemetry (TELE) nurse position located in an acute care facility. This role involves providing high-quality patient care on a telemetry unit, with a focus on adult patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring.
Job Details
- Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Assignment runs from August 31, 2026, to November 30, 2026
- Shift work includes weekends on an every-other-weekend basis; holiday work is incorporated into the rotation schedule
- Float rotation may be required. Travelers reporting to the clinical coordinators office prior to shift start will be assigned to units that most often include telemetry and step-down patients
- Dress Code: Royal Blue scrubs for RNs
- Orientation: 1-2 shifts of unit-specific orientation with a preceptor
- Schedule Planning: Self-scheduling is not utilized; scheduling is typically managed 4 to 6 weeks in advance by the organization
Required Qualifications
- Valid ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- California license
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in telemetry nursing or similar specialty
- RN must be able to read and interpret cardiac strips
Preferred Qualifications
- BSN preferred
- Experience with cardiac rhythm interpretation
- Ability to manage telemetry equipment
- Knowledge in acute care protocols
