Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse - $2,135 per week

Job Summary

This position involves providing nursing care in a telemetry unit, focusing on patients with cardiac or medical conditions such as CHF, COVID, respiratory issues, GI, diabetics, post-cath, and total joint replacements. The role requires interpreting telemetry strips, responding to patient needs, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care.

Job Details

• Shift: Days, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Required Qualifications

• BLS and ACLS certifications
• At least 2 years of nursing experience
• Licensure to practice
• The ability to interpret telemetry strips

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with reading basic telemetry strips
• Managing CVA and TIA patients
• Cerner electronic health record system experience
• Total joint replacement experience

Schedule

• Shifts are 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Schedules created for four-week blocks
• Self-scheduling used but pending manager approval

Additional Information

• Pending passing a dysrhythmia exam within two attempts before contract signing
• The candidate may float to East Campus and potentially to PCU if qualified
• Night shifts and weekend rotations are part of the schedule, with specific holiday coverage
• One unit orientation shift will be provided

Pay Package

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
