Located at the healthcare provider's facility, this position involves providing specialized nursing care to patients with cardiovascular conditions. The role requires flexibility to float across multiple unit zones within a 60-mile radius, ensuring optimal patient outcomes while adhering to safety and clinical protocols.

Schedule

• Nights shift, 12 hours per shift
• Minimum of 36 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care
• Monitor cardiac rhythms via Electronic Fetal Heart Monitoring
• Manage acute cardiac conditions
• Collaborate with healthcare team members
• Float within zone 2 locations, including ICU (performing low acuity holds within skillset), Progressive Care Unit (PCU)/Stepdown, and Medical-Surgical Telemetry units
• Must be in state for the week of orientation, even if initial modules are remote
• Charting performed using Electronic Fetal Heart Monitoring

The hospital can cancel up to four shifts during a 13-week assignment.

Requirements

• Valid license to submit
• ACLS certification
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• NIHSS certification
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience

Pay

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
