Schedule
Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications
- Certified as a Health Care Professional with Basic Life Support (AHA), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (AHA), Crisis Prevention Institute (or MAB), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- Must be able to read telemetry strips
- Willingness to work upcoming holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year) with no requests for time off during the holiday period
Additional Information
- After three call outs, the contract will be terminated
- Travelers will be tested prior to orientation on arrhythmia readings and heparin distribution
- Failure to pass testing will result in contract cancellation
- Facility can cancel one shift every four weeks during the contract
- Floating within the scope of practice is required
- Charge nurse or preceptor may be required and will be reflected on the Health Care Professional's timesheet
- Compliance clearance is required 10 days prior to orientation
