About the role

Telemetry (TELE) Registered Nurse (RN) position providing specialized nursing care for patients in the telemetry unit with a focus on monitoring and managing cardiac and other high-acuity patients. This assignment is scheduled for night shifts, utilizing a 3x12-hour shift pattern, with a commitment to a rotating holiday schedule.

Schedule

  • Nights, 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
  • Weekends and rotating holidays
  • Minimum 36 hours per week

Responsibilities

  • Provide specialized nursing care for patients in the telemetry unit
  • Monitor and manage cardiac and other high-acuity patients
  • Adhere to hospital or healthcare facility standard operating procedures and clinical protocols

Requirements

  • Valid nursing license
  • 2 years of telemetry or progressive care unit (PCU)/intensive care unit (ICU) experience
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • American Heart Association (AHA) certifications
  • Current clearance to work at the location

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with electronic fetal monitoring
  • Experience with telemetry monitoring systems
  • Experience with cardiac patient care
