ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Asheville, North Carolina. Specialty: Telemetry. Discipline: RN. Start Date: 10/05/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Employment Type: Travel. Join our dynamic team as a Registered Nurse in our General Surgery unit. You will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to a population that includes urology and bowel patients.

Responsibilities

• Manage a patient load of 6-7 patients, depending on the shift.
• Utilize telemetry equipment to monitor patients’ vital signs and health conditions.
• Administer TPN, PCA, and IV antibiotics as needed.
• Perform wound care, including the use of wound vacs and managing drains.
• Assist with a variety of surgical procedures including cholecystectomies, appendectomies, and urology surgeries.
• Collaborate effectively with team members, including charge nurses, unit secretaries, and CNAs.

Requirements

• Must possess a valid RN license.
• Telemetry competency is required.
• Current BLS certification.
• Experience with urology and bowel care is preferred.
