About the role
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Surgical Trauma Intensive Care Unit. The ideal candidate will have experience working in high-acuity ICU settings, particularly in surgical and trauma care. The nurse will be responsible for providing compassionate and patient-centered care, collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for critically ill patients in the STICU
- Administer medications and other treatments as prescribed
- Monitor patients' vital signs and document observations accurately
- Perform procedures such as intubation, chest tube placement, and central line placement
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Conduct patient assessments and develop care plans
Requirements
- Valid Nursing License
- Active ACLS and BLS Certifications
- Experience in a Trauma ICU environment (Level I or Level II Trauma Centers)
Qualifications
- Surgical ICU experience is preferred
- Advanced Skills in critical care procedures

Schedule
- Duration: 13-week contract

- 12-hour night shifts, 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
