Travel STICU RN - $1,934 per week

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Surgical Trauma Intensive Care Unit. The ideal candidate will have experience working in high-acuity ICU settings, particularly in surgical and trauma care. The nurse will be responsible for providing compassionate and patient-centered care, collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for critically ill patients in the STICU
• Administer medications and other treatments as prescribed
• Monitor patients' vital signs and document observations accurately
• Perform procedures such as intubation, chest tube placement, and central line placement
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Conduct patient assessments and develop care plans

Requirements

• Valid Nursing License
• Active ACLS and BLS Certifications
• Experience in a Trauma ICU environment (Level I or Level II Trauma Centers)

Qualifications

• Surgical ICU experience is preferred
• Advanced Skills in critical care procedures

Schedule

• Duration: 13-week contract
• 36 hours per week
• 12-hour night shifts, 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
