Travel Stepdown RN - $3,243 per week

About the role

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a 13‑week assignment in Rock Island, Illinois. The position starts on October 6, 2026, requires 48 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts, and is a travel employment type.

Responsibilities

• Manage chest tubes, femstops, tracheostomies, continuous bladder irrigation, drains, and central lines.
• Administer and titrate medications including amiodarone, cardizem, nitro, insulin, heparin, dopamine, dobutamine, isuprel, milrinone, and argatroban.

Requirements

• Active Illinois and Iowa RN licensure (required for floating to Quad Cities sister facilities).
• BLS and ACLS certification.
• Minimum 1 year of recent stepdown experience.
• Not employed by UnityPoint Health within the past 12 months.

Qualifications

• State license IL required; IA license required (offered).
• At least one completed travel contract preferred.

Skills

• Proficiency with chest tubes, femstops, trachs, CBIs, drains, central lines.
• Experience with medication titration for amiodarone, cardizem, nitro, insulin, heparin, dopamine, dobutamine, isuprel, milrinone, argatroban.
