About the role
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Stepdown Unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in acute care nursing and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. Candidates must be proficient in using the EPIC charting system and hold current ACLS and BLS certifications.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Stepdown Unit.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing appropriate interventions.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members for optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using the EPIC charting system.
Requirements
- Active New York State RN License
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
- NIH Stroke Scale certified
- Stepdown experience required
