A strict attendance policy will be implemented, with strikes given for absences, arriving late, or leaving shifts early without prior authorization. Patient Monitoring: Utilize advanced monitoring equipment to track vital signs, telemetry, and critical metrics. Assessment & Intervention: Perform regular assessments, recognize subtle changes in patient conditions, and implement necessary interventions or life-saving measures. Medication Management: Administer complex medications, IV therapies, and titrate drips as ordered. Specialized Care: Care for patients recovering from surgery, cardiac events, or those with complex conditions (e.g., ventilated patients, stroke patients requiring neurological checks). Collaboration: Work with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, therapists) to develop and implement effective care plans. Education: Educate patients and families on diseases, treatment plans, and discharge instructions. Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of nursing care and patient responses. Qualifications 2 years of RN experience in Stepdown/Progressive Care Telemetry monitoring experience Cerner experience Certification Requirements BLS (AHA) ACLS (AHA) Licensure Requirements Active Michigan state RN license required at the time of submission Modern Healthcare Solutions Job ID #38291846.
