Travel Stepdown RN - $2,334 per week

Schedule

• 36 hours per week
• 12-hour shifts, nights (6:30 PM–7 AM)
• Every other weekend

About the role

• 18-bed CVU (Cardiac/Vascular Unit)
• Patient-to-nurse ratio: 1:4 (1:3 for fresh post-surgical patients)
• Telemetry required
• Patient population: Intermediate cardiac care, downgraded CVICU patients, cath lab, CVA, CHF, AFib RVR, thoracic, EP & structural heart patients
• Float to same or lower-acuity units
• RTO (Return Time Off): Up to 7 days per 13-week contract; must be submitted upfront

Common drips: Amiodarone, nitro, nicardipine, epinephrine, Cardizem & BP medications.

Requirements

• 1+ year relevant CVU/cardiac experience
• BLS, ACLS & NIHSS certifications
• Must be comfortable titrating cardiac drips
• Must read & interpret telemetry
• Navy blue scrubs
• 50+ mile radius from facility
• Driver’s license required at submission
• Not currently employed FT/PT/PRN with CommonSpirit, CHI or Dignity facilities
