Travel Stepdown RN - $2,322 per week

About the role

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a 13‑week contract in Morgantown, West Virginia. The position requires 36 hours per week on 12‑hour day shifts (7 AM–7 PM), every other weekend. The role is on the 8 Northeast unit of a Level 1 trauma center, caring for patients with brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, traumatic fractures, and complex trauma, requiring proficient assessment skills and adaptable nursing practices for high‑acuity medical/surgical patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to a stable medical/surgical/trauma patient population.
• Monitor and interpret vital signs, administering medications including titratable drips such as Cardizem, Labetalol, and Amiodarone.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
• Utilize advanced equipment such as Bipap, Cpap, and ventilators.
• Assist in the promotion of early patient mobilization with in‑ceiling lift systems.

Requirements

• Current RN License
• BLS Required
• ACLS Required
• Experience in a medical‑surgical setting preferred
