Travel Stepdown RN - $2,221 per week
MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a quality Step Down Registered Nurse for a travel assignment with one of our top healthcare clients in Morgantown, West Virginia.
About the role
This is a 13-week travel nursing assignment starting 08/24/2026. The schedule is 36 hours per week, with 12-hour night shifts.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient needs, signs, and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient's condition.
- Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data from healthcare members and document actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
- Document the patient's plan of care using identified nursing diagnoses, expected patient outcomes, and selected nursing interventions.
- Initiate and evaluate patient and/or family education.
- Revise and document the plan of care according to evaluation, changes in medical plan of care, and effective/ineffective nursing interventions.
Requirements
- Active RN License.
- Degree from an accredited nursing program.
- BLS Certifications.
- Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care PCU/Step-down setting.
- Other requirements to be determined by the client facility.
