Travel Stepdown Registered Nurse - $2,624 per week
About the role
Jackson Nurse Professionals is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a 13-week assignment starting July 27, 2026, at a hospital in Rapid City, South Dakota.
Responsibilities
- Assist physicians in managing patients requiring step-down care
- Monitor and adjust medications as needed
- Provide education to patients and families about their conditions and treatment plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
Requirements
- 2 years of recent experience in step-down care
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (certifications vary by location)
- Valid license and/or certification in state of practice
- Valid driver's license
- Background check and drug screening required

Pay
The pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 48 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
