Travel Stepdown Registered Nurse - $2,396 per week
About the role
Jackson Nurse Professionals is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a 13-week assignment starting August 17, 2026, at a 36-hour per week, 12-hour shift schedule.
Responsibilities
- Assist physicians in managing patients requiring step-down care
- Monitor and adjust patient medications as necessary
- Perform basic diagnostic tests and procedures
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Provide emotional support to patients and families
Requirements
- 2 years of recent experience in stepdown care
- Current BLS certification (certifications vary by location)
- Valid license and/or certification in state of practice
- Valid driver's license
- Background check and drug screen required
Qualifications
- 2 years of recent experience in area of specialty listed on job
- Current BLS required (certifications vary by location – job may require ACLS)
- Valid license and/or certification in state of practice
- Valid Driver's License

Pay
The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
