About the role
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical/Surgical Trauma Unit. The unit, part of a Level 1 Trauma Center, specializes in providing care for patients with brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, and complicated trauma cases. Our nursing staff employs advanced monitoring techniques and a collaborative approach to patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor patient conditions, particularly trauma and surgical cases.
- Administer medications and manage titratable IV drips.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Utilize advanced technology for patient monitoring and care management.
- Document patient assessments and interventions accurately using the EPIC charting system.
Requirements
- Current RN License
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Experience in a medical/surgical or trauma setting is preferred
- Strong assessment skills and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment

Schedule
Schedule 12-hour night shifts, including weekends and holidays as scheduled.
Pay
Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
