Medical Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a 13-week assignment in Damariscotta, Maine.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing patient care for patients recovering from surgery or acute illness
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures under the supervision of a licensed practitioner
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to supervising nurse
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Maine
• Current BLS certification

Qualifications

• Experience in step-down unit preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Skills

• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR)
