Travel Stepdown Registered Nurse - $2,139 per week
About the role
Northern Illinois hospital is currently looking for 3 ICU/Stepdown nurses to work 13 week contracts starting ASAP.
Must have at least 3 years of experience, current IL licensure and ACLS/BLS/NIHSS certifications. Previous travel experience is preferred, but not required.
They are seeking travelers with adult critical care experience willing to float between ICU and step down departments.
Responsibilities
- Provide step-down care to patients requiring monitoring and support
- Assist with daily patient care routines including medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Perform diagnostic tests and monitor patient progress
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulations
Requirements
- Current Illinois RN license
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
- ACLS/BLS/NIHSS certifications
