Travel Stepdown/Med-Surg RN - $2,319 per week

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our new Stepdown/MedSurg unit, which is set to open in the first quarter of 2026. This flex unit will serve both floor and step-down patients, catering to a diverse medical population.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 3:1 in step-down and 6:1 on the floor.
• Titrade IV drips as per physician orders, including medications such as heparin, insulin, and anti-hypertensives.
• Collaborate with Clinical Associates (CAs) and engage in effective patient care delivery.
• Utilize the EPIC charting system for patient documentation.
• Monitor patients using Phillips telemetry equipment; RNs are not required to read their own strips.

Requirements

• Current RN license required.
• BLS certification (AHA) is mandatory.
• EPIC experience is a must.
• Experience in handling medical-surgical and stepdown patient populations is preferred.

Pay

The Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

This is a 13-week contract position, working 12-hour night shifts, including weekends and holidays as scheduled.
