About the Role

ND Global Consulting Services is seeking a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Charge Nurse (RN) for a travel nursing assignment in Atlanta, Georgia. This role involves managing an Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) with 16-10 beds and a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1 to 4.

Responsibilities

• Oversee patient care for conditions including sepsis, heart failure, hypertensive emergency, respiratory failure, COPD, chronic kidney disease, Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (TDM2), substance abuse, and encephalopathy.
• Manage heparin drips and ensure adherence to clinical protocols.
• Lead and coordinate nursing staff in a high-acuity progressive care setting.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a PCU or similar high-acuity unit.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.

Schedule

• 13-week contract with an ASAP start date.
• 48 hours per week (full-time).
• 12-hour night shifts.
