Travel Step Down RN - $2,559 per week
Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a PCU/Stepdown RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Cleveland, Ohio, starting September 16, 2026.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care in a Stepdown/PCU unit.
- Work 12-hour rotating shifts with a total of 36 hours per week.
- Complete required assessments and training during orientation, including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate, with a maximum of 2 attempts to pass.
- Complete 6-15 hours of pre-start and annual modules (4 hours are billable).
- Submit BCI/FBI fingerprints within 48 hours of signing the contract.
Requirements
- 18 months of combined permanent experience in Stepdown/PCU (preferably within one location).
- Active, permanent Ohio RN license or compact license in hand at time of submission.
- Active certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS (must be in hand at submission).
- One reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty from the past 12 months.
- COVID-19 and flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions only).
- Negative 10-panel + nicotine (cotinine) drug screen within 12 months of start (updated annually).
- No open BG (background) cases; any hits are reviewed by the facility.
- Nurses and CSTs are exempt from nicotine-free facility requirements; all other travelers must be nicotine-free.
Duration and Extensions
- Assignment duration: 13 weeks.
- Travelers may remain on assignment for up to 18 months, followed by a 6-month break before returning (unless approved by the client).

Pay
Estimated weekly pay includes projected hourly wages and weekly meal and lodging per diems based on nationally published GSA rates. Actual weekly pay and per diems may differ and are subject to change during the assignment.
