Travel Step Down RN - $2,532 per week

About the role

Located in Cleveland, Ohio, this 13-week travel nursing assignment begins on 11/13/2026 with 36 hours per week. We are seeking a qualified Stepdown Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in stepdown nursing and will be expected to float to various units as necessary to meet the needs of patients. This position requires a commitment to work every other holiday and deliver compassionate care to patients in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as per physician orders.
• Conduct patient assessments and monitor vital signs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement care plans.
• Assist in patient education and discharge planning.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Minimum of 12 months of permanent RN experience in a stepdown setting.
• Valid Ohio RN license or compact state license in hand.
• Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Reference from a manager or supervisor in the specialty applying for is required.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

Shift: 12 hours, rotating. Day Shift: 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) & Night Shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30); Rotating shifts may be required based on operational needs.
