MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a quality Step Down Registered Nurse for a travel assignment with one of our top healthcare clients in Cleveland, Ohio.

About the role

13-week travel nursing assignment starting 09/16/2026. 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

Assess patient needs, signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient's condition.
Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
Collect, analyze, and interpret data and information from healthcare members and document actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
Document the patient's plan of care using identified nursing diagnoses, expected patient outcomes, and selected nursing interventions.
Initiate and evaluate patient and/or family education.
Revise and document the plan of care according to evaluation, changes in medical plan of care, and effective/ineffective nursing interventions.

Requirements

Active RN License.
Degree from accredited nursing program.
BLS Certification.
Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care PCU/Step-down setting.
Additional requirements to be determined by the client facility.
