About the role
HealthTrust Workforce Solutions CHS is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a 13-week assignment in Birmingham, Alabama.
Responsibilities
- Provide step-down care to patients recovering from acute illnesses or surgeries.
- Assist with medication administration, monitoring vital signs, and administering treatments as needed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
Requirements
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Two years of experience as a registered nurse preferred.
- Permanent address within 50 miles of the facility.
- Experience working in a step-down unit preferred.
- One nurse to four patients ratio on the step-down unit.
