Responsibilities

  • Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report changes to healthcare providers.
  • Provide ongoing patient education and support.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and safety standards.
  • Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
  • Assist with patient transfers and discharge planning.

Requirements

  • 2.0 years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
  • Current ACLS, BLS, and WI RN or compact RN license.
  • Knowledge of blood product administration, care of ventilated patients, central line care/management, interpretation of dysrhythmias, isolation precautions/PPE, management of dysrhythmias, nasal cannula, non-invasive airway management, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown, peripheral line care/management, starting and maintaining IVs, surgical drains, telemetry, tracheostomy care/management, use of rapid response/code teams, wound care/wound vac, post transplant care, trauma I or II.
