About the Role

Assist in managing patient care on a step-down unit, providing comprehensive nursing care to patients recovering from surgery or acute illness. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and quality care.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor vital signs and record data accurately
• Perform routine patient assessments and document findings
• Provide emotional support and assist with patient education
• Coordinate with physicians and other healthcare providers
• Ensure patient comfort and maintain a safe environment

Requirements

• 2 years of relevant experience
• Current Ohio license or compact license
• Preferred previous charge nurse experience

Qualifications

• BLS certification
• NIC certification
• Other certifications as listed in Required Certifications & Skills
