About the Role
Responsible for providing care to patients in a step-down unit setting. Duties may include administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with patient activities of daily living.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications as ordered by a physician
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records
- Monitor and record vital signs
- Assist with patient activities of daily living
- Participate in interdisciplinary rounds
- Follow infection control protocols
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse license in Ohio or a compact state
- One year of acute care experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
