About the role

Voca Healthcare is seeking an experienced Med Surg RN for a travel nursing assignment in Johnson City, New York. This is a 13-week assignment starting 08/17/2026, with 36 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts. As a travel nurse with Voca, you’ll work in dynamic healthcare settings, gaining valuable experience while receiving competitive compensation and support.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high level of professionalism and composure in fast-paced, stressful healthcare environments.
• Provide patient care in Med Surg / Telemetry settings.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a Med Surg RN (preferred, but exceptional candidates with strong passion will be considered).
• Valid certification and/or licensure in the state of practice, if applicable.
• Valid Driver’s License and ability to travel between assignment locations.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen to meet healthcare industry standards.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
