Requirements
- Must live 65+ miles from facility
- Must not have been employed by any Ochsner facility within the past year
- Education: Registered nurse diploma required; Associate or bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
- Experience: 2+ years required
- Current registered nurse (RN) license in state of practice
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Current Pediatric Advanced Cardiac Life Support (PALS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Current CPI certification from the Crisis Prevention Institute (within 12 months)
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in clinical specialty area
Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
