About the role

American Traveler seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist with an active Oregon license and CCC or CFY status for a day-shift assignment across dual sites treating adult acute and outpatient patients.

• Hospital-based rehabilitation setting providing acute and outpatient speech therapy services
• Treats adult patients with speech sounds, language, voice, swallowing, and cognitive disorders including memory, attention, and problem solving
• Day shift schedule from 8:00am to 2:30pm with no weekends
• 13-week assignment across dual sites requiring travel between multiple points of care
• 32 guaranteed hours per week

Responsibilities

• Evaluation, treatment, and education addressing communication and swallowing needs
• Communicates effectively and professionally with patients, families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members
• Promotes teamwork within the rehabilitation department
• Part of a collaborative rehabilitation team treating patients with injuries or conditions affecting self-care, mobility, or functional independence

Requirements

• Current unencumbered Oregon Speech-Language Pathology license required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA or active participation in Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) required
• Minimum of 1 year of experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Ability to travel between multiple points of care
