About the role
This role assumes responsibility and accountability for incorporating the vision, values, mission and critical goals of the organization into their job performance.
Responsibilities
- Assess and treat patients in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Provide therapy sessions to improve communication skills and overall quality of life for patients.
- Document progress and communicate with other healthcare providers as needed.
Requirements
- 1 year of recent experience as a(n) Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in SNF / LTC.
- Current Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license within the state of practice.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Passing score on the Praxis II exam or equivalent certification.
- Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid regulations and reimbursement processes.
Skills
- Strong clinical skills in speech-language pathology.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay
The pay package is based on 8.0 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
5x8 Days shift, 8 hours per day.
