Travel Speech Language Pathologist - SNF/LTC - $2,332 per week

About the Role

A great SNF / LTC is looking for an experienced Speech Language Pathologist / SLP to join their growing team for a 13-week contract assignment in Lancaster, California. This is a travel position with a days schedule, 8-hour shifts, and 40 hours per week.

This role assumes responsibility and accountability for incorporating the vision, values, mission, and critical goals of the organization into job performance. The Speech Language Pathologist will work within an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled speech therapy services and interventions in accordance with physician orders.
• Assess patient needs, plan for, evaluate, and modify care to meet goals of speech therapy interventions.
• Set realistic and achievable goals for patients to develop or recover reliable communication and swallowing skills.
• Help patients fulfill their educational, vocational, and social roles through improved communication and swallowing abilities.

Requirements

• Graduated from an accredited Speech Language Pathology program.
• Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist / SLP or actively in the process of obtaining licensure.
• Must hold SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology).

Pay

Pay package is based on 8.0-hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
