Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) settings, located in Humansville, Missouri. This role involves screening, evaluating, and rehabilitating patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders within a clinical environment. The position requires adherence to regulatory and clinical practice standards, utilizing standardized assessments and evidence-based interventions to support patient recovery and progression.

The role involves supervising and supporting Certified Clinical Fellows (CFY) or Student Speech-Language Pathologists, participating in meetings such as patient care conferences and utilization reviews, and maintaining compliance with ASHA and State licensure regulations. Candidates must be able to obtain necessary durable medical equipment (DME) or supplies and complete all documentation in accordance with regulatory and clinical standards.

Responsibilities

  • Screen, evaluate, and rehabilitate patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders
  • Adhere to regulatory and clinical practice standards
  • Utilize standardized assessments and evidence-based interventions
  • Supervise and support Certified Clinical Fellows (CFY) or Student Speech-Language Pathologists

Requirements

  • Valid Missouri State Licensure
  • CCC-certified Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP)
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist, including LTC or Rehab experience (new graduates with Level II experience are acceptable)

Schedule

  • Start Date: 09/14/2026
  • Duration: 13 weeks
  • 40 hours per week
  • Shift: 8 hours, days
