About the role

The organization is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a facility in Webster, Massachusetts. This role involves evaluating and rehabilitating patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders. The Speech Language Pathologist will develop and implement treatment plans based on standardized assessments and evidence-based practices, monitor patient progress, and modify services accordingly. The position requires effective communication with team members and compliance with regulatory and clinical standards to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and rehabilitate patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders
  • Develop and implement treatment plans based on standardized assessments and evidence-based practices
  • Monitor patient progress and modify services as needed
  • Participate in required meetings including patient care conferences and training sessions
  • Supervise and support Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or Student Speech-Language Pathologists
  • Manage documentation and regulatory compliance
  • Ensure the timely delivery of treatment services

Requirements

  • One year of Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) experience; new graduates acceptable if they have Level II experience (not just observation)
  • Massachusetts State License
  • Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
  • One reference required at the time of application
  • Must meet all regulatory and clinical practice standards, including adherence to ASHA and State licensure requirements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Long-term care (LTC) or rehabilitation experience

Schedule

  • Day shifts, 8 hours per day
  • Minimum of 40 hours per week
