Travel Speech Language Pathologist - Outpatient - $1,816 per week

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a travel assignment in Mount Vernon, Ohio. The position starts 11/23/2026, lasts 13 weeks, requires 40 hours per week on 8‑hour day shifts, and is a travel employment type. Job ID #1521009.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with speech, voice, or swallowing impairments and evaluate/develop plans of care for diverse patient populations in acute care.
• Diagnose, treat, and prevent speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Create individualized treatment and therapy plans.
• Perform screenings to detect voice or speech disorders.
• Educate patients and family members about speech disorders and causes, including disabilities and traumatic events.
• Report progress and status to appropriate parties (family, teachers, medical professionals).
• Provide timely and accurate documentation per state and/or insurance guidelines.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of experience (new graduates encouraged); 1 year preferred, with possible acceptance of 6 months for exceptional background.
• Current BLS certification.
• ASHA‑SLP National Certification with state‑specific licensing.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, and to bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty.
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Additional certifications may be required before assignment.
