Travel Speech-Language Pathologist (LTC/SNF) - $2,070 per week

About the role

The client in Rose City, Michigan is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week contract position at a Long Term Care facility. The position requires 40 hours per week and is available on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech therapy services to patients in a long-term care setting
• Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders
• Create and implement individualized treatment plans
• Document progress and communicate with interdisciplinary teams
• Adhere to medical and ethical standards

Requirements

• Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist
• Bachelor’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or related field
• Experience working in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Passing score on the Praxis II exam or equivalent
• Knowledge of clinical procedures and techniques
• Strong organizational and time management skills

Pay

Pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
