About the role

CoreMedical Group is seeking a travel Long Term Care (LTC) Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week assignment starting July 10, 2026, in Rapid City, South Dakota.

Responsibilities

  • Provide speech therapy services to patients in a long-term care facility setting.
  • Assess and diagnose speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Document patient assessments, treatments, and progress notes.

Requirements

  • Current license to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist in South Dakota.
  • Experience in long-term care settings preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Passing score on the Praxis II exam or equivalent.
  • Current CPR certification.

Skills

  • Strong clinical skills in speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in computer software for documentation and record-keeping.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Pay

The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with tax-free stipend amount to be determined. The estimated weekly payment includes hourly wages, meal and incidental expenses, and housing expenses.

Schedule

Days shift, 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day.
