Travel Speech-Language Pathologist (LTC/SNF) - $1,940 per week

About the role

CoreMedical Group is seeking a travel Long Term Care (LTC) Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week assignment starting July 10, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech therapy services to patients in a long-term care facility setting.
• Assess and diagnose speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Conduct evaluations and progress assessments as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state of Alabama.
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities preferred.
• Knowledge of communication disorders and treatment methodologies.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Passing score on the Praxis II exam or equivalent.
• Current CPR certification.

Skills

• Strong clinical skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in computer software for documentation and record-keeping.

Pay

The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
