Travel Speech Language Pathologist Long Term Care Job

Speech Language Pathologist needed for a travel temporary assignment in a long-term care setting in Oswego, New York. The assignment starts November 23, 2026, with a contract duration of 13 weeks. This is a healthcare environment focused on geriatric care.

Pay

Weekly pay ranges from $3,315 to $3,479, with guaranteed hours of 40 per week. Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary; final compensation packages and confirmed hours will be discussed during the hiring process.

Schedule

Weekdays, Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech-language pathology assessments for residents
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans addressing communication and swallowing disorders
• Provide direct therapy sessions and monitor resident progress
• Document evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes in resident records
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support goals and care planning
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and facility policies

Requirements

• Current New York State license as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Degree in Speech Language Pathology from a college/university accredited by the American Speech and Hearing Association
• SNF (skilled nursing facility) or long-term care experience preferred
• Ability to work in a long-term care environment, Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.
• Willingness to participate in a travel assignment to Oswego, NY
