About the role
Aya is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join an inpatient rehabilitation facility in Irving, TX.
Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans for patients
- Provide therapy sessions to improve communication skills and swallowing disorders
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Keep detailed records and report progress to supervising physicians
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Texas
- One year of relevant clinical experience
Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in using Meditech charting system
Skills
- Knowledge of speech and language disorders
- Experience with swallowing disorders assessment and treatment
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
Pay
$1,719.00 to $1,948.00 weekly
Schedule
5x8-Hour 08:00 - 16:00
